An e-book is a book in electronic format. It is downloaded to a computer, PC, Mac, laptop, tablet, smartphone or any other kind of reading device, and is read on the screen. It can have numbered pages, table of contents, pictures and graphics, exactly like a printed book. It can be published as a stand-alone digital title or as an additional version of a book that is also available in printed format.
The advantage of an e-book is that it is relatively cheap to produce compared to a printed version and can be made available on an international platform for unlimited digital sales. Unlike a printed book, it can never run ‘out of stock’ and no trees have to be sacrificed!
At Kwarts we are experienced in e-book design, which is a specialized field. We create e-books in e-pub and e-pdf versions, as well as Kindle version that can be uploaded to Amazon Kindle. Some authors prefer to upload the e-book to their own Amazon Kindle account.
Alternatively we can upload it to the Kwarts Publishers Amazon Kindle account. Payment to authors take place on a quarterly basis. Browse our catalogue on Amazon Kindle here.
